There are often disasters (flood, fire, riots) that affect the world and often when such events occur there are people who want to help but do not have the resources available. The Master has Need of Account is a strategy the Lord has given us to ensure that as a church we are prepared when such things happen and we have the resources to be able to make a meaningful impact.

Each partner is encouraged to open a separate bank account in their name called a Master Has Need Account. Start it off with R50. Commit to put aside some money into that account each month (it could be R50 a month or R500 a month). Send an email to accounts@churchoftheway.co.za to tell us that you have opened this account and want to participate. You are responsible to keep that money separate and available for use when needed. When the leadership senses that God is asking us to participate in a specific emergency situation, we will call for the Master Has Need Money to be made available – you will prayerfully ask the Lord how much you will contribute from your account. The church will contribute from its own Master Has Need Allocation and all the monies will be pooled together and sent to assist where needed.
